jennifer harris bridal logoJennifer approached me to create a logo and website for her rapidly expanding wedding dress design business. Her brief was simple: to produce something that reflected the vintage feel of her dress designs and act as a showcase.

The resulting logo has a needle forming the "i" of Jennifer and I created a thin font to mirror this, so I added a stitched oval to frame it and give it weight. The colouring has a very 1950s pastel feel to emphasise the vintage requirement.

I didn’t want to make the website overly vintage in design and alienate any potential customers. Vintage colouring was used, but I paired it with a deliberately modern main font and a fairly course texture in the background of the webpages.

I also produced a mobile version of the site, but due to budget and time restraints it has limited functionality. A more rewarding mobile experience will be created in the future to compliment the desktop site.
