This was a book design and layout project for the Education Company of Ireland (Edco).

It was designed using lots of white space and clean colours to minimise the school book feel. The use of large attractive images gave added interest and provides a natural stop for each sub-section.

Initially, they wanted the redesign and layout of The Everyday Living Home Economics book for the Irish curriculum. This soon expanded into the creation of a number of supporting titles – consisting of a recipe book, teacher’s book and a workbook.
