I created a logo and website for an ex-colleague who had her own cake baking company.

The logo was designed with a colourful confectionery feel, to reflect the cake icing, sweets, and chocolate nature of the business. I chose to play down the ‘cake company with attitude’ brief, deciding that from a branding point of view it may make the job of selling a little bit harder. Instead, I tried to make it more playful and friendly.

Unfortunately, I had to put the design for the website on hold – as my client lost the images for the content when the disk drive on an unbacked-up computer failed.
